About the role
We’re on the lookout for a reliable Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor machinery while ensuring strict adherence to food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, calibrate, and operate flow wrap machinery efficiently to meet production plans.
- Quality Control & Inspection: Inspect finished products (weight, seal integrity, appearance) and verify print clarity/legibility on film.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshoot jams to minimize downtime.
- Production Monitoring & Recording: Monitor performance for optimal speed, ensure proper product loading, and accurately record production data (batches, film print, operating times).
- Workflow Coordination & Safety: Coordinate with packing staff to keep pace with the machine, ensure smooth production flow, and maintain safety/cleaning standards.
- Material Management: Monitor and report stock levels of film and consumables to avoid interruptions
What We’re Looking For
- Previous machine operating experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is usually required (1–3 years).
- Understanding of production machinery, and ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Ability to work with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
