Sportsmart is currently seeking a Full Time Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at our Moorabbin location.
Store Location: Moorabbin
Role Type: Full Time (38 hours per week) - Tuesday to Saturday
Departments: Footwear and Clothing
We're looking for a bright, active and outgoing individual who has a passion for sports and fitness footwear, clothing and equipment to help us expand our sporting goods and equipment business. If you are comfortable working in a fast paced team environment and meeting targets than you will enjoy being part of the Sportsmart team.
The position available will help you expand your career in retail and the sporting goods market and you will be exposed to many opportunities.
Here are some of the qualities we are looking for:
- A passion for sports and general fitness especially at a community and grass roots level.
- Outgoing and energetic personality with a passion for assisting customers with their sporting needs
- Strong belief in teamwork and team development
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
Some of the experience you may have that could be useful in applying.
- Product knowledge of sporting goods
- Customer service skills
- Experience in dealing with high stock volumes in a retail environment
- Merchandising & visual presentation in detail

This full time position is suited to recent school leavers or anyone with a passion for sport and general health and fitness.
Regular weekend work is required as well working over peak retail periods including Public Holidays as required.
