We are recruiting Live-in Caregivers who will support our elderly clients in their home.
Daughterly Care has been helping seniors stay in the comfort of their own home for 27 years. We need experienced Caregivers to care for seniors who are frail or have some cognitive decline such as dementia.
Our clients are in SYDNEY and mostly on the Northern Suburbs of Sydney.
We have many Caregivers commuting to Sydney from the Central Coast, Blue Mountains & Southern Shire locations.
- You MUST have 'paid' experience working with High Care clients & Dementia Care.
- You MUST BE an Australian Resident/Citizen - no student Visas are accepted. No sponsorship.
- You MUST have a reliable car with a full drivers licence (no P plates) to take our clients to appointments/shopping.
ABOUT YOU:
- You MUST have 3+ years PAID WORKING EXPERIENCE caring for with clients who have high care needs and/or dementia (no student placement and/or looking after family members).
- You will LIVE at your clients home for @3-4 consecutive days each week and provide 8 hours of care when needed. (If your client needs more than 8 hours of care, we will assign another carer to assist the client to reduce your work load to 8 hours. You will remain at the client's home).
- You will assist your client to shower, dress, cook them meals plus manual handling.
- You have good verbal and written English skills.
- You have a Smartphone with Internet services.
- You can work for us and not pay tax until you've earned over $36,747 by applying for Salary Packaging.
