About the role:
We now seek an “On Road” Site Service Technician to join our team servicing our customers within the NSW/ACT region on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role will suit a highly motivated individual who is hands on, likes variety in their day and has previous window & door or construction industry experience. You will assist in servicing of our products whilst providing quality workmanship & superior customer service. Full Training will be provided to the suitable candidate.
Normal hours of work: 6.00am – 2.20pm Mon - Fri + Overtime as required to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out service, adjustments & maintenance of our aluminium windows & doors
- Glazing on-site and utilisation of hand & power tools
- Onsite product assembly and coupling
- Maintaining accurate digital service records of works carried out & meeting deadlines
- Liaising with our customers in a professional manner
- Ensuring all safety regulations and company guidelines are followed
- Advising management of any onsite issues early
About You:
- Current Driver’s Licence and White Card
- Experience in Fabrication is preferred
- An understanding of glazing or glass handling is an advantage
- Experience with installation of fly screen/security doors is an advantage
- Proven experience with manual handling and a strong understanding of safe lifting techniques
- High level of quality control, job compliance and ensure OH&S is met
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be self-motivated and solutions focussed
- Flexible and willing to travel across NSW/ACT region, including overnight stays where required
- Live locally to our Alexandria warehouse (Public Transport within walking distance)
