Part-Time Retail Team Member — Howards Storage World Cambridge
Howards Storage World Cambridge is looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Team Member to join our store in Cambridge, Tasmania.This position offers 15 hours per week, with regular shifts scheduled across Monday, Friday and Saturday. Exact shift times will be discussed with the successful applicant, but applicants must be able to reliably work on all three of these days.
About the role
This is a hands-on retail position in a small and friendly store. Your responsibilities will include serving and assisting customers, helping customers find suitable storage products, operating our POS system after training, keeping the store clean and presentable, restocking shelves, receiving and putting away stock orders, and assisting with general day-to-day store duties.Some shifts may include the final five-minute end-of-day tasks after trading closes.
About you
The successful applicant will be friendly, dependable, punctual, well presented and comfortable speaking with customers. You will have a positive attitude, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn. You should also be comfortable working independently when required and handling normal retail stock and shelf-restocking duties.Retail experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided on our products, store procedures and point-of-sale system.
Availability required
The store trades Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The successful applicant must be available to work regular shifts on:
Monday
Friday
Saturday
The position is for 15 hours per week across these days. Some shifts may be opening shifts, afternoon shifts or closing shifts, depending on the roster and store requirements.
Pay: $26.44 per hour
