About the role
Join SA Medical Imaging as a Nuclear Medicine Registrar and build your specialist skills within a supportive teaching environment at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Working under the supervision of experienced Nuclear Medicine Consultants, you will assist in the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine services while developing detailed knowledge across all aspects of contemporary Nuclear Medicine practice.
This role offers outstanding training and development opportunities, combining hands-on clinical experience with research, education and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will participate in patient assessment, investigation planning, image interpretation, reporting and therapy follow-up, while contributing to quality improvement activities, departmental education programs and advanced training requirements. You may also gain valuable experience across other metropolitan teaching hospitals, including paediatric Nuclear Medicine exposure.
About You
You are a motivated medical practitioner with a strong interest in Nuclear Medicine and a commitment to developing specialist clinical expertise.
- MBBS and General Registration with AHPRA
- Clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Radiology
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred clinical care
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
- Commitment to education, research and continuous learning
