About the Role
As an Employment Consultant within APM’s Inclusive Employment Australia Program, you’ll support people facing barriers to work while actively promoting candidates to employers. This role combines people support with sales, business development, and KPI‑driven performance.
You will be responsible for building employer pipelines, pitching candidates, generating job opportunities, and guiding participants into sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
Build participant relationships to understand goals and prepare them for job readiness
Coach participants in resumes, interviews, job search strategies, and confidence building
Actively reverse market candidates to employers
Conduct cold calls, employer visits, and proactive business development
Generate new job opportunities through employer engagement
Negotiate job trials, wage subsidies, and work experience placements
Maintain and grow employer pipelines to drive repeat business
Achieve KPI targets across placements, engagement, and activity levels
Manage compliance, documentation, and participant progress
Celebrate milestones and successful placements
