ICT System Test Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ICT System Test Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for testing, validating, and commissioning ICT systems and infrastructure to ensure they perform reliably, meet design requirements, and are ready for operational use.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute system testing for ICT infrastructure, integrations, and applications.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test records.
- Verify system functionality, performance, security, and reliability against project specifications.
- Troubleshoot faults, isolate issues, and work with internal teams and vendors to resolve defects.
- Support commissioning, integration testing, and handover activities.
- Document test results, defects, corrective actions, and final outcomes.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to coordinate testing activities.
- Ensure all testing and reporting is completed in line with company standards and project timelines.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in ICT GX, Rapid, NOXX, Crowdstrike, Ninja remote management, RMS, NX Witness, Hik central, Vaxtor, Biometric systems testing, commissioning, or technical validation.
- Strong understanding of networking, hardware, software, and integrated systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical records.
- Experience working with project teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Relevant qualification in ICT, engineering, electronics, or a related field is desirable.
Preferred Background
- Experience with access control, CCTV, alarms, communications systems, or other security-related ICT systems.
- Familiarity with test documentation, QA processes, and commissioning workflows.
- Knowledge of IP networking, device configuration, and system integration.
