Yield Café is a busy and growing brunch café in Revesby, known for high-quality food, creative seasonal menus and a strong focus on presentation and consistency.
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
About the role
You will be responsible for running your section efficiently and supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
- Managing your section during service
- Following recipes, portion controls and presentation standards
- Completing daily prep and stock rotation
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Assisting with ordering and stock control
- Communicating effectively with the head chef and kitchen team
- Supporting junior staff where required
- Keeping your section clean, organised and service-ready
- Helping maintain consistency across all dishes
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Has strong experience in a busy café, brunch or restaurant kitchen
- Can work quickly and calmly under pressure
- Has excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Takes pride in presentation, consistency and quality
- Understands food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
- Is reliable, punctual and team-focused
- Is available to work weekdays and weekends
- Can work independently while also supporting the wider kitchen team
Experience with modern Australian brunch food is highly regarded.
