About the opportunity
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Freight Handler to join our team. With e-commerce continuing to grow, our freight handlers play a vital role in ensuring parcels and freight are sorted, loaded and ready for delivery to our customers on time.
This is a casual position working:

Monday to Friday
-
Minimum 4-hour shifts
-
Start time: 5:45am
-
Finish time: 9:45am
In this role, you’ll be:

Loading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into delivery vehicles
-
Unloading returning freight from trucks back into the warehouse

Wrapping and securing freight by hand or using shrink-wrap equipment
-
Scanning parcels and updating freight documentation accurately

Working as part of a team to ensure freight is processed efficiently and safely

Contributing to a workplace focused on service, safety and teamwork
About you
You’ll be someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in being part of a team that keeps Australia moving. To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

The ability to repeatedly lift up to 30kgs safely (assessed as part of a pre-employment medical)

Excellent attention to detail, even when performing repetitive tasks

A positive, team-focused attitude

A commitment to workplace safety

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

A forklift licence (highly regarded but not essential)
