PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Maintain and enhance enterprise GIS datasets, network models and web GIS platforms. Develop automated spatial data workflows
and analytical solutions that support asset management, operational decision-making and regulatory reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Maintain the integrity, quality and currency of enterprise GIS datasets, utility network models, asset inventories and associated spatial
information systems.
- Design, develop and maintain automated spatial ETL and business workflows using FME Workbench and FME Flow, including data validation,
system integration, scheduled processing and reporting automation.
- Configure, administer and support Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) web GIS platforms including ArcGIS Online, web maps,
hosted feature services, dashboards, mobile applications and web applications.
- Develop spatial analysis, reporting and visualisation products to support asset management decision making, operational planning and
regulatory reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain Python, ArcPy, SQL and API-based automation solutions that improve business processes and data quality.
- Provide technical advice and support relating to GIS architecture, spatial data management, automation and enterprise GIS best practice.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver GIS and spatial information services that support business objectives.
