About the role
Providing peer-based support to patients admitted to the Adult Mental Health Recovery Unit. The Peer Worker uses personal lived experience to provide vital support, guidance and advocacy to consumers with the focus on building hope, resilience and empowerment for patients living with mental health conditions.
Prioritising building rapport and trust with the clients in the inpatient setting and supporting them though their recovery journey.
