We design and manufacture a range of government Emergency service vehicles, fitting new vehicles and decommissioning. This is a fast-paced environment with plenty of work to do whilst working with a great team.
Store person Position responsibilities include:
- Internal customer relations - Helping our Trade staff with parts and good from the Store House
- Stock control and management including consumables and customised parts working closely with Amtek Purchase team.
- Picking and packing
- Receiving incoming deliveries, unloading of goods unloading with forklift from trucks and containers
- Booking outgoing orders and freight collection via phone and email
- Coordinating the dispatch of goods internally to our teams ready builds
- Allocating stock to shelves using high reach Forklift and maintaining stock structure.
- Maintaining an organised, clean and safe Stores
- Assisting with rubbish management when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Current forklift high reach license and experience required.
- Face to face customer service skills.
- Computer skills Basic - Intermediate Excel and data entry.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude to work
- Good communication skills
- Can work independently and as a team
- Will go that extra mile and have flexibility
