This role drives best practice asset management for water and wastewater infrastructure through the development of strategic frameworks, business processes and supporting systems. It ensures sustainable asset performance by identifying renewal priorities and delivering capital works programs aligned with organisational goals and asset management requirements.

- Degree-qualified Engineer with substantial experience in asset management for water, wastewater or other utility infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing asset management strategies, policies, systems and business processes.
- Strong knowledge of asset management and computerised maintenance management systems, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Skilled in preparing risk-based renewal plans, project briefs and budget estimates to support long-term infrastructure outcomes.
- Preparation of high-quality reports and engage effectively with stakeholders.

This position is based in Tweed Heads, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
