ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused team player to help maintain the quality and integrity of our residential developments. In this role, you’ll coordinate maintenance activities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure our communities continue to deliver an exceptional living experience for residents.
Key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate and manage property care and maintenance activities across residential developments, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Work closely with the Property Care Team Leader to deliver project-specific maintenance and defect rectification tasks.
- Schedule, oversee and liaise with trades, contractors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and defects.
- Undertake hands-on maintenance works, including painting, plastering, minor repairs and general handyman duties.
- Support project teams during building handovers by assisting with defect identification and resolution.
- Provide regular updates and proactive reporting to construction and project teams on maintenance progress and outcomes.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with residents, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities comply with company Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and legislative requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance and rectification works are carried out in accordance with company quality standards, policies, procedures and project requirements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in a Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Property Care, Maintenance, or similar role within the construction or property industry.
- Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and QBCC Standards and Tolerances.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-first approach.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with experience in Procore and/or MYBOS highly regarded.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and outcomes.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
- Ability to build and maintain positive, proactive relationships with residents, subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- A current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (advantageous).
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and quality standards.
