What you’ll achieve
As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will support delivery operations, follow SOPs, and learn troubleshooting and documentation practices. You will contribute to accurate status reporting, ticket hygiene, and effective resolution of end-user and infrastructure-related issues. You will help ensure IT services are delivered in line with operational standards, governance requirements, and customer expectations, while working closely with internal teams and service desk processes.

You will

Support delivery operations and follow SOPs to ensure efficient and effective service execution.

Update records, documentation, and trackers; maintain strong data integrity and current operational procedures.

Prepare basic reports, status updates, and customer communications to support service delivery and issue resolution.

Collaborate with team members, IT staff, and service desk functions to coordinate tasks and meet timelines.

Respond to service desk tasks and assist with day-to-day support, maintenance, and rectification of IT equipment and network infrastructure.

Troubleshoot basic to moderately complex hardware, software, and networking issues, escalating to vendors or suppliers when appropriate.

Support installation, upgrade, setup, and configuration management activities for end-user hardware and software environments.

Engage business representatives and end users to understand needs, provide user support, and deliver basic end-user guidance or training as needed.

Ensure compliance with enterprise technical, governance, and documentation standards.

Essential Requirements

2+ years of related experience

Accuracy in task execution and documentation

Basic troubleshooting and monitoring skills

Organizational skills and attention to detail

Willingness to learn delivery tools and methods

Working knowledge of PC hardware, peripheral equipment, and Windows-based end-user environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work with limited supervision and manage assigned support tasks effectively.

NV1 Security Cleared

Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia
Desirable Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

AWS/Azure Fundamentals; ITIL Foundation or equivalent
-
Experience supporting LAN/WAN environments and general knowledge of data communications principles and standards.

Relevant formal IT qualifications preferred.
