Ritual Coffee Traders is a busy neighbourhood café in Northbridge focused on delivering exceptional customer service and fast, accessible specialty coffee.
We work with some of Australia's leading roasters, with coffees regularly rotating from names such as Stitch, Market Lane and Wood & Co.
Our coffee setup is built for quality and consistency, featuring a La Marzocco KB90, Anfim grinders, EK43, Puqpress and Juggler milk systems.
We're passionate about coffee, but we're even more passionate about hospitality.
The Role
We are currently looking for a Full Time Barista / All Rounder to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment, loves engaging with customers and has a genuine passion for specialty coffee.
You'll be working alongside an experienced team while helping deliver consistently great coffee and customer experiences every day.
What We're Looking For
You must have:
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy a bit of banter with customers
- A genuine passion for specialty coffee
- Experience working in specialty coffee
- The ability to dial in coffee and maintain consistency throughout service
- A strong understanding of flavour, origin, processing methods and roast profiles
- Experience working in a high-volume café environment
- Confidence working both behind the machine and on the floor
- Experience operating POS systems and serving customers
- Strong organisation and stock management skills
- A willingness to learn, adapt and share knowledge with the team
- Availability across weekdays and occasional weekends
- The ability to work well within a small team
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee
- Dialling in and maintaining coffee quality throughout service
- Engaging with customers and providing exceptional hospitality
- Operating POS and taking customer orders
- Managing stock and keeping the coffee bar organised
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Supporting the team wherever required
