Store Manager – Saucony | South Wharf
Full-Time (38 hrs) | Tuesday – Saturday
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an energetic and driven Store Manager to lead our new Saucony South Wharf store. In this role, you’ll partner closely with your Area Manager and Assistant Store Manager to coach, develop and motivate a passionate team, build a strong store culture, and deliver an exceptional customer experience every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and knows how to balance people leadership with commercial performance.
The Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading day-to-day store operations to deliver strong results across KPIs, sales, stock, wages and shrinkage
- Coaching and inspiring your team to consistently achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Monitoring performance daily, weekly and monthly, celebrating wins and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Managing rosters and wage costs in line with budget and company standards
- Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
- Ensuring compliance with OH&S standards, while prioritising team wellbeing
- Developing team capability through training, mentoring and succession planning
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- 1+ years’ experience as a Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment
- A results-driven mindset with proven experience delivering sales and KPI performance
- Strong operational capability across stock control, wage management and visual merchandising
- The ability to analyse performance, identify missed opportunities and take action
- A people-first leadership style with a genuine passion for developing others and building engaged teams
- A proactive, “Make It Happen” attitude and a love for retail
