The Role
This is a full-time position working closely alongside the Café Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the venue.
You'll play an important role in ensuring service runs smoothly, supporting the team on the floor, and helping maintain operational excellence across all areas of the café.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Operations

Support the Café Manager in the day-to-day operation of the venue

Lead the team during service and ensure a smooth customer experience

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service

Step into operational roles as required, including coffee making and customer service

Ensure food safety, RSA, and workplace compliance standards are consistently met
Team Support

Assist with staff supervision, training, and onboarding

Lead by example and help create a positive, professional team culture

Support daily shift organisation and communication

Assist with rostering and shift coverage
Stock & Administration

Assist with ordering, stock control, and supplier management

Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage

Support labour efficiency and operational targets

Assist the Manager with administrative and operational tasks as required
About You

Previous experience in a café or hospitality supervisory role

Passion for customer service and hospitality

Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment

Strong organisational and communication skills

RSA Certificate (essential)

Barista experience is desirable but not essential, training can be providede
