OUR COMPANY
HelloDR Esk is the local medical centre at 98 Ipswich Street, Esk, right in the heart of the Somerset region. We're the trusted health hub for Esk and the surrounding rural communities, offering GP consultations, bulk billing (eligibility criteria may apply), DAME (Designated Aviation Medical Examiner) services, travel vaccinations, skin cancer checks and onsite audiology through our local hearing clinic.
We're a growing, community-focused, small-town clinic with genuine reach - the kind of place where staff know their patients by name. With a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, our team of healthcare professionals works collaboratively to create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
The HelloDR Esk operates during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Closed
The Role
At HelloDR Esk, our Psychologist plays a vital role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our community. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll provide evidence-based psychological assessments, therapy, and structured mental health support for patients referred through GP Mental Health Treatment Plans and other referral pathways.
In our close-knit rural community, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term therapeutic relationships while making a genuine difference to people who may have limited access to psychological services. Every day brings varied and rewarding work, from supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns to collaborating closely with our GPs and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy and psychological assessment across a mixed caseload
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Work closely with our GPs and Social Worker on shared and complex care
- Maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation and reporting
- Develop personalised treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
About You
- General registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Experience delivering therapy across a broad range of presentations
- Comfortable working autonomously with the backing of a GP-led team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for improving mental health outcomes

Pay: $55.00 – $70.00 per hour
