About the role
The Grants Support Officer supports the effective administration of grants across Create NSW grant programs, helping to ensure funding is delivered transparently, efficiently and in line with government policies and processes. Your work will ensure funding is managed and distributed accurately, on time, and in line with government processes, so that investment in the arts and creative industries achieves its intended impact.
Day-to-day, you will support the team with tasks such as processing payments and invoices, contracting processes. You will also assist with monitoring and reporting on grants, responding to enquiries, helping the unit operate smoothly and transparently.
About You
You have experience in providing administrative and financial support, with the ability to manage tasks such as processing invoices, generating purchase orders, and using payment systems such as SAP and MyWorkZone. You are confident using Microsoft Office programs and can handle routine transactions and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. Your strong verbal and written communication skills allow you to interpret and respond to enquiries with clarity.
You are organised and reliable, able to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines. You are comfortable working in a team environment, supporting colleagues and responding to enquiries in a clear and professional way. Experience in grants administration and/or payment processes is desirable.
