Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital is a major metropolitan teaching hospital. Patients can access a range of services including coronary care, intensive care, orthopaedics, general medicine, surgical, obstetric, respiratory, rehabilitation, paediatric, maternity and emergency care. The hospital also provides a wide range of outpatient services including allied health, dental and podiatry clinics, child, adolescent and family health, drug and alcohol, health promotion and rehabilitation and aged care. An acute mental health service is co-located at Hornsby Hospital. The new $265 million Stage 2 redevelopment was officially opened in June 2022.

What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the Career Medical Officer (CMO) is to provide high level medical care, including responsibility for the initial assessment, investigation of patients in Intensive Care and High Dependency admissions. The CMO will be supervised by specialist staff, and provide supervision and support to junior medical staff in the Intensive Care.
