We're seeking a creative and proactive Communications and Marketing Advisor to join our team to help deliver impactful internal and external communications and marketing initiatives. You will be passionate about collaborating with stakeholders, coordinating and undertaking project related activities, storytelling and meaningful engagement. You’ll manage digital platforms, support campaigns and events, and help create engaging content that enhances our brand and visibility.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, you'll play a role in supporting the delivery of engaging internal and external communications and marketing initiatives. Using a hands-on approach, you will coordinate marketing and project activities whilst collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You will also contribute to the creation of content that informs, inspires and connects people across our organisation.
Working closely with the Communications and Marketing team and other stakeholders across CHL, you'll help bring our strategic priorities to life through clear, human-centred and creative communication and marketing activity.
What you’ll do

Contribute to the development and delivery of engaging communications and campaigns across internal and external channels

Create content for CHL's intranet, website, newsletters, social media, publications and help manage digital platforms and channels

Engage with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers and coordinate communication and marketing activities, including for events

Monitor CHL's digital presence and engagement metrics and contribute to reporting

Ensure brand consistency and inclusive communications

Collaborate across teams to support organisational projects and initiatives
About You
You're a confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team, getting involved in projects, building relationships and coordinating activities and events. You enjoy storytelling, supporting the delivery of internal and external communications and marketing and have a genuine passion for wanting to support vulnerable people in our community.
You'll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline

4+ years' experience in communications or a similar role

Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on inclusive communication

Experience with digital platforms, social media, and CMS tools
-
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
-
A collaborative approach and the confidence to work as part of a team and with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
-
A commitment to accessibility, inclusion and people-centred communication
It would be great if you also have:
-
Experience working in housing, homelessness, community services or the not-for-profit sector
-
Experience supporting change communications or organisational projects
-
Basic design or video content creation and editing skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
