Disability Support Worker – Kyabram VIC
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide community participation support to a participant located in Kyabram.
Available Shifts
- Tuesday mornings – 4 hours
- Thursday afternoons – 4 hours
This role involves supporting a friendly participant to engage in community-based activities, build independence, and maintain social connections within the local community.
The participant is diagnosed with Autism and Schizophrenia and benefits from support workers who are patient, calm, and able to communicate clearly. Strong spoken English skills are preferred to support effective communication and engagement.
About You
- Experience supporting people with disability is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, reliable, and person-centred approach
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
