About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with our project and commercial teams, you’ll play a central role in the commercial and contractual management of our construction projects. You’ll ensure contracts are administered accurately and in line with project requirements, budgets and timelines, while keeping us compliant with our contractual obligations and supporting successful project delivery. This role is preferably based in our Perth office, however we’re open to the right candidate working from our Brisbane office. With projects spanning WA and the NT, you’ll enjoy genuine variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact, no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities

Administer head contracts, subcontracts and supplier agreements in line with contractual terms, keeping contract registers accurate, current and auditable
- Prepare, assess and submit progress claims, payment schedules and supporting documentation, and review subcontractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare, assess and administer contract variations, extensions of time and claims within required timeframes, maintaining accurate variation registers
- Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, tender documentation, evaluations, subcontract agreements, purchase orders and onboarding (including compliance and insurance requirements)
- Assist with budget tracking, cost reporting, forecasting, cash flow and final accounts through to project closeout
- Prepare regular commercial and cost reports for project management and senior stakeholders
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Managers and commercial teams, and liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Support compliance, governance, risk management and audit requirements across your projects
About You

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Sound understanding of construction contracts, subcontract agreements and procurement processes, with the ability to interpret contractual terms, scopes of work, drawings and specifications
- Proven experience with progress claims, variations, extensions of time and commercial reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and confidence with construction management systems and document control software
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and maintain confidentiality
- Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card) and a C class driver’s licence
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Certificate IV in Business or similar (preferred)
