We're looking for a reliable, experienced and motivated Senior Front of House Team Member to join our busy takeaway restaurant in Kings Park, Sydney.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, leads by example, takes ownership of their work, and can perform confidently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively multitask during busy periods
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive customer experience
- Greet customers, take orders and answer menu-related enquiries professionally
- Ensure all orders are packed accurately and efficiently
- Make desserts, shakes and other front-of-house menu items to company standards
- Assist with light food preparation tasks as required
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional front-of-house environment throughout the shift
- Restock drinks, packaging and front counter supplies as needed
- Monitor customer wait times and communicate effectively with both customers and kitchen staff
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- Assist with the supervision of junior team members
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff during service
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and effectively
- Act as a senior point of contact during service and assist with problem resolution
- Support management in maintaining service standards, team performance and daily operations
- Complete other duties as reasonably directed by management
What We're Looking For
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Professional presentation and excellent personal hygiene
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy service periods
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
- Strong understanding of customer service principles
- Leadership qualities and the ability to support and guide other team members
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Availability
Flexible shifts are available Tuesday through Sunday, including evenings and weekends.
