Nundah Village Family Practice is a busy & modern general practice in Nundah, with over 70 years of history.
We have operated Brisbane's first Respiratory Clinic since March 2020 in response to the COVID pandemic, contributing to us winning RACGP QLD Practice of the year 2020.
We are now looking to hire another Practice Nurse to join our exceptional multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced and fun environment.
You will be joining a very tight-knit team who value and respect each other, and enjoy a friendly staff bake-off, or the occasional staff dinner and drinks after work.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Chronic disease care plan & Health assessment
- Sterilisation
- Stock management
- Procedure assisting
- Patient recalls
- Vaccination
- Infusion

Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in private practice (GP setting)
- Registration with AHPRA
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in all aspects of general practice
- Ability to perform childhood immunisations
- Ability to perform wound care and dressings
- Ability to perform ECG & spirometry
- Experience in Best Practice software
- Experience with Primary sense software
- Experience with Hotdoc software
Remuneration is based on the Nurses Award 2010.
Hours will be approx. 38 hours per week.
Close to public transport, or staff parking onsite.
