We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Gnangara, Western Australia.
About the role: You are required to perform a variety of tasks related to the construction, installation, andrepair of wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture.
Tasks include:
-Assessing and diagnosing construction requirements, and advising on material selection, design options, and technical specifications.
-Utilizing a range of carpentry techniques to enhance the structural integrity of buildings, create custom woodwork, and ensure durability and safety.
-installing and repairing wooden fixtures and structures, including doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry, and furniture, ensuring precision and high-quality craftsmanship.
-Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans toensure projects are completed according to client specifications and building codes.
-Cutting, shaping, and joining wood and other materials using hand tools, powertools, and machines to construct, install, or repair items.
-Providing recommendations on maintenance of wooden structures and furniture, ensuring long-lasting functionality and aesthetic appeal.
-Collaborating with other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers) to ensure proper integration of wooden structures with other building systems.
-Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes during everyphase of construction and installation.
Ideal candidates must have qualification in Carpentry and at leaset 3 years full time working experience in the industry.
