We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused
ICT Technician to join our team in our Carwarp office (located near Mildura VIC).
Reporting to the Manager, IT Services – APAC South, you will provide onsite and remote technical support to employees across multiple locations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT equipment, supporting business systems and ensuring employees have access to the tools they need to perform their roles effectively.
This role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of technologies and is well suited to someone looking to further develop their career in IT support within a large and diverse organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end users across hardware, software and network-related issues.
- Respond to helpdesk requests and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
- Support user account administration, password resets and access management.
- Assist with software deployment, upgrades and updates.
- Monitor and maintain IT assets and equipment registers.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching and backup activities.
- Assist with network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and support guides.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Support ongoing IT improvement initiatives and projects.
- Ensure compliance with company cybersecurity, safety and operational standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an IT support, service desk or ICT technician role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and Microsoft environments.
- Exposure to Active Directory, user account management and device configuration.
- Basic networking knowledge including switches, wireless networks and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Also highly regarded:
- Experience supporting manufacturing, warehousing or industrial environments.
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications.
- Experience working across multiple sites and remote locations.
