Nu-Pure Beverages is one of Australia's largest privately owned beverage manufacturers, producing a range of bottled water and beverage products for leading retail and commercial customers nationwide.
We are currently seeking motivated and safety-focused Line Operators to join our Horsley Park production team. In this hands-on role, you'll operate production machinery, maintain product quality standards and help ensure our manufacturing lines run efficiently.
This is a full-time permanent position working an 80-hour fortnight on a rotating 12-hour shift roster (6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am), with overtime opportunities available.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring production and packaging machinery
- Identifying, reporting and resolving equipment or process issues
- Conducting machine adjustments and basic fault-finding activities
- Performing product quality checks and ensuring packaging standards are met
- Monitoring line performance and recording production data
- Completing changeovers and assisting with line maintenance activities
- Safely handling materials and finished goods
- Assisting with stock control activities, including material usage and stock takes
- Maintaining housekeeping standards across the production area
- Adhering to GMP, HACCP, food safety and quality requirements
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, production or packaging environment
- Mechanical aptitude and basic fault-finding skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work independently and take initiative when required
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A current Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Experience within the food and beverage manufacturing industry (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of GMP and food safety requirements (highly regarded)
- A willingness to participate in shift work
