Brioche by Philip is a busy specialty café located in Eastland Shopping Centre, Ringwood. We're looking for an experienced and passionate barista to join our friendly team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café and wants to be part of a supportive team. While coffee is your primary focus, we believe in cross-training our staff so everyone has the opportunity to develop skills across different areas of the café.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing consistently high-quality espresso coffee
- Dialling in coffee and maintaining quality throughout service
- Customer service and operating the POS
- Running food and drinks
- Light food toasting
- Assisting with dishwashing and maintaining a clean workspace
- Supporting the team with general café duties
- Opportunity to learn food preparation and other areas of the café
About You
- Minimum 2 years' barista experience in a busy café
- Confident working independently during busy service
- Excellent milk texturing and coffee consistency
- Friendly, reliable and customer-focused
- Organised and able to multitask
- Willing to assist across all areas of the café
- Available to work weekdays and at least one weekend day
- Ideally located within a short driving distance of Ringwood
- Must have valid Australian working rights
