About Us
SelectCleaning – Reegan & Dave is a locally operated cleaning business servicing homes and small businesses across Adelaide. We focus on dependable, high-quality cleaning, professional client care and consistent attention to detail.
As our client base grows, we are looking for a reliable and trustworthy cleaner to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, with opportunities for additional hours as more regular clients and commercial sites are added.
About the Role
This role involves cleaning residential homes and selected small commercial premises across Adelaide. You will work independently and, where required, alongside our team to deliver a consistently high standard of service.
This is suited to someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with clients and understands that reliability matters just as much as cleaning skill.
Key Duties
Your responsibilities may include:
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors;
- Dusting and wiping surfaces;
- Cleaning kitchens, benches, sinks and external appliance surfaces;
- Cleaning bathrooms, showers, toilets and mirrors;
- General tidying and presentation of cleaned areas;
- Emptying rubbish bins and replacing liners;
- Cleaning residential homes and small business premises;
- Following cleaning checklists and safe chemical handling procedures;
- Reporting any damage, hazards, supply issues or client concerns promptly;
- Maintaining professional and respectful conduct in clients’ homes and workplaces.
From time to time, additional work may include deep cleans, move-out cleans or detailed cleaning tasks, depending on training, experience and job requirements.
Hours and Employment Type
- Permanent part-time position
- Minimum guaranteed hours to be agreed based on availability and roster requirements
- Additional hours may become available as our client base grows
- Primarily weekday daytime work
- Occasional weekend work may be offered by agreement
The specific regular days and hours will be agreed in writing before commencement.
Pay and Conditions
- From $32.00 per hour plus superannuation for ordinary weekday hours
- Applicable penalty rates, overtime and allowances will be paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020
- Paid induction and required job-related training
- Cleaning equipment, products and uniform requirements will be discussed during onboarding

The successful applicant will be:
- Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance;
- Honest and respectful when working in clients’ homes;
- Detail-oriented and able to follow cleaning procedures;
- Physically able to perform domestic and commercial cleaning duties;
- Comfortable working independently after training;
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally;
- Willing to receive feedback and maintain quality standards.
Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but applicants with strong reliability, a good attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Valid Australian working rights;
- A current driver’s licence;
- Access to a reliable vehicle;
- A mobile phone for communication and scheduling;
- Ability to obtain or provide a current National Police Check;
- Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Where work involves eligible disability-support or other screened client settings, an NDIS Worker Screening Check or other required clearance may be required before allocation to those clients.
