Commission-Only Sales Rep | AI Phone Assistant for Cafés and Restaurants
Parla is an AI phone assistant for Australian hospitality businesses. It answers inbound calls 24/7, takes bookings, handles FAQs, and never calls in sick. A café owner spends between $1,200 and $1,800 a month on casual labour just to cover the phones. We solve that from $147 to $397 a month. The product is live with real venues. We need someone to put it in front of more café and restaurant owners.
What you'll do
You visit cafés and restaurants in your area, start a conversation with the owner, and when the time is right you call our live demo line in front of them. They hear the AI answer a call, take a booking, and handle an objection in real time. No deck, no Zoom. The demo is the close. We provide the full sales brief, a proven pitch framework, an objection guide, and the live demo number.
What you earn
$299 for every client you sign (one-off), plus 10% of their monthly fee for as long as they stay with Parla. No territory, no cap. As an example, 20 cafés on the top plan is around $5,980 in setup commissions plus nearly $800 a month in recurring income, every month, for as long as they stay.
Who we're looking for
Based in Australia, strong face-to-face communicator, comfortable talking to business owners, experience handling objections and closing. Hospitality or small-business sales background is a genuine advantage. A commission-only mindset with a long-term view on recurring income.
Important
This is an independent contractor role, commission only, with no base wage and no set hours. You will need an ABN (free, about 10 minutes to set up) before you start. You're selling Parla to café owners, not recruiting other reps, and there's nothing to buy in.
