About the role:
Step into a senior clinical leadership position as a Level 3 Occupational Therapist. You'll deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy services across multiple locations, gaining diverse experience and building strong community relationships across Murrumbidgee Local Health District. This role offers the autonomy to make high-level clinical decisions while working collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team focused on Occupational Therapy service delivery in the community.
This is a temporary part time job-share position, working alongside other Senior Occupational Therapists as a part of the wider MLHD Integrated Care team. Virtual care can be utilised with support from MPS sites or directly into the home.
Key responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy services including assessment, treatment and preventative care
Demonstrate high-level clinical expertise and evidence-based practice in accordance with MLHD CORE values
Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient health outcomes and facilitate safe, timely intervention
Provide clinical supervision and support to Level 1/2 Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants and students
Contribute to service planning, quality improvement initiatives and research activities
Maintain accurate documentation and activity statistics in line with Key Performance Indicators
Participate in professional development, clinical supervision and the MLHD Professional Discipline Network
