Casual and full-time opportunities | Port Macquarie, NSW
Get paid to work in the treetops
WildNets is an exciting new world high up in the trees, a vast network of suspended nets, ropes courses and ball pits set in natural forest. Families come to us to run, bounce, climb and take on challenges they didn't think they could. Our Park Instructors are the people who make that happen.
If you love the outdoors, love people, and like the idea of an office with a canopy for a ceiling, keep reading.
The role
As a Park Instructor you're the face of the park. You'll be up in the nets, the ropes and on the ground, keeping our guests safe, confident and grinning.
Day to day, you'll:
- Welcome guests, run safety briefings and fit harnesses
- Supervise activities across the nets, ropes courses and kids' areas
- Coach nervous first-timers through their first big step, and celebrate it with them
- Carry out daily safety checks on equipment and courses
- Perform rescues and respond to incidents (full training provided)
- Help out with bookings, the kiosk, cleaning and general park upkeep
- Look after our patch of forest and keep it looking wild
What we're looking for
You don't need experience in adventure parks. We'll train you on everything technical. What we can't teach is attitude.
Essential:
- A warm, energetic way with people of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents
- Comfortable working at heights and in all weather
- Good physical fitness (you'll be climbing, walking and lifting all day)
- A genuine focus on safety and following procedure
- Availability on weekends, public holidays and school holidays
- A current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- 18 years or older
Nice to have:
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Experience in outdoor education, climbing, hospitality, childcare, retail or customer service
- Your own transport
What's in it for you
- Paid training and certification in ropes course operation and rescue
- A workplace outdoors, in the trees, with a genuinely good team
- Free park access for you, plus mates' rates for family and friends
- Real career progression, many of our full-time and senior staff started as casuals
- Being part of a business that puts 50% of profits into the Wild Koala Breeding Program
Casual roles offer flexible shifts across weekends and holidays — great if you're studying or juggling other commitments.
Full-time roles offer consistent hours, a leadership pathway and involvement in park operations, training and maintenance.
