$87,301 pa + 12% super (level 3)

As a Public Safety Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role within our Emergency Management and Public Safety team, helping to enhance safety outcomes across our communities. This dynamic position focuses on the planning, safety assessment, deployment, and relocation of portable CCTV units, contributing directly to proactive and responsive public safety initiatives.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to;
Coordinate procurement activities with contractors and internal stakeholders
Support project delivery through updating registers, schedules, and tracking progress
Configure and maintain CCTV systems, access registers, and analytics dashboards
Process requests for CCTV footage and system access in line with policy and privacy requirements
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of CCTV systems, procedures, and operational processes
Manage financial administration tasks including purchase orders, expense reporting, and budget transactions
Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment
Participate in the Local Disaster Coordination Centre and on-call arrangements as required

About you
We're looking for an experienced public safety and CCTV operator, familiar with viewing and reporting on footage, images or matters which may be distressing in a discrete and professional manner.
You'll also have:
Great written communication skills to prepare quality business correspondence and documents
Strong time management skills to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
Good relationship management skills to engage effectively at all levels
Ability to synthesis facts, conduct analysis, interpret and evaluate relevant data
Current C class driver’s licence (required)
Dogman Licence is highly regarded
RePL Remote Pilot Licence is highly regarded.
