The Fellow will work at an intermediary level between the Advanced Trainee Registrars and Consultants in the service, with a focus in areas of research and clinical trials.
The Clinical Fellow, Medical Oncology position is aimed at a Senior Advanced Trainee or Specialist Registrar who has completed their training years in Medical Oncology. The Fellowship will aim at extending your knowledge and expertise in Medical Oncology in preparation for entering your consultant years. You will be involved in all aspects of clinical care with Medical Oncology patients at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities include:
Provide outpatient and inpatient Medical Oncology services at a level intermediary between the Advanced Trainee Registrars and Consultants
Assist the Clinical Trials team in the review and co-ordination of patients on or being considered for clinical trials.
Work with the Consultant team to develop the Departmental research collaborative and research clinics.
Salary rates: $6,524.30 - $7,189.50 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L10 - L13) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.) for up to 12 months. Applications will remain current for 12 months / or the duration of the vacancy. Applications may be used to appoint to similar vacancies for a period up to 12 months after the closing date of the initial vacancy.
