This role sits within the Pricing team under the Finance function. You will work closely with the Category, Finance, and broader Pricing Teams to support better commercial outcomes through analytics and data. You will help drive gross margin improvement, EBIT and revenue growth, with a strong focus on learning, continuous improvement, and smarter ways of working.
About the role:

Administer and analyse vendor rebate agreements and programs to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely reconciliation

Track rebate performance and highlight trends, risks, variances and opportunities

Support Category teams with supplier cost price implementation and ongoing price reviews
-
Analyse margin impacts and prepare insights, dashboards and reporting to support pricing initiatives, vendor discussions and category decisions decision making

Support the development of automation tools, including exploring opportunities to apply AI to repetitive or low-value manual activities (e.g., agents, lightweight apps, workflow automations)

Support with delivering the overall pricing strategy with business and customer in mind
About you:

Tertiary qualification recently obtained in commerce, finance, IT, data analytics, or mathematics/statistics

Previous experience in a Commercial, Pricing, or analytics role advantageous (including internships or placements)

Experience with Microsoft Excel and confidence working with big data

Experience or exposure to BI tools, SQL, or Python highly regarded
-
Curiosity and a practical interest in applying AI to solve business problems

Actively applies AI in both personal and professional contexts to improve efficiency, automate tasks, and unlock better outcomes

Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate outputs to predetermined timelines

High ownership, willingness to learn, and a continuous improvement mindset
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based onsite at the Blackwoods National Support Office in Macquarie Park.
