At Residenz, we support older Australians to remain independent in their own homes. Our Full-time (38 hours per week) Domestic Assistant Specialist role will provide essential home support that aims to improve safety, comfort, and quality of life for our values clients.For many of our clients, it is not just cleaning. It’s reliability, care, and connection.
The role:
Helping elderly people stay independent in their own homes in the Sunshine Coast areas near Sippy Downs, Nambour, Yandina and Eumundi by completing the following essential duties:
- General home cleaning (75% of the role) including vacuuming, mopping, changing bed linen.
- Onboarding and training other team members to ensure clear expectations and team success
- Distribution of new equipment and uniforms to team members as required
The role is a perfect fit for you if:
- You enjoy helping elderly people remain independent and looking for permanent Full-time employment
- You have extensive experience in the home care cleaning sector and can demonstrate a track record of outstanding service skills and delivery.
- Are willing to travel all over Brisbane and on occasion to the Sunshine Coast
- You’re reliable and punctual
- Physical capacity to perform cleaning tasks
- You enjoy working independently
- You want meaningful work without weekend commitments
- Have good people skills and can engage easily and tactfully with their clients.
- Have a current Australian Driver's License.
- Current police check (or willing to obtain)
- Current NDIS check (or willing to obtain).
- Are COVID and influenza immunised (required for working in home care).
