The Ranch is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Wellbeing Educator to join our team on a part-time basis.
Set on 200 acres of stunning landscape on the Mornington Peninsula, The Ranch welcomes thousands of students each year for adventure-filled school camps that combine outdoor activities with personal growth and wellbeing. Our wellbeing program is a key part of the camp experience, helping students develop confidence, resilience, self esteem and self awareness through a nurturing environment that will hopefully help build skills that they can take through everyday life.

About the Role
As our Wellbeing Educator, you'll work closely alongside our Camp Manager to coordinate and deliver The Ranch's wellbeing program while supporting the wider camp team.
You'll facilitate engaging wellbeing sessions, deliver pre-camp and post-camp presentations, train and mentor other staff, and ensure our wellbeing resources and communications remain current and effective. You'll also monitor feedback and statistics from program outcomes, to continually improve the experience for schools and students.
While wellbeing is your primary focus, you'll also support the Camp Manager with the day-to-day operation of camp programs and assist with outdoor activities where required, helping to ensure every camp runs smoothly and every guest has the best experience possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging wellbeing sessions for school groups and other visiting organisations.
- Facilitate pre and post-camp presentations.
- Train, mentor and support activity facilitators (and other staff where required) in delivering the wellbeing program.
- Oversee staff delivery and provide ongoing feedback to ensure consistent, high-quality programs.
- Monitor program participation, feedback and wellbeing outcomes.
- Analyse data and identify opportunities to improve the program.
- Update presentations and program resources.
- Ensure information provided to schools before and after camp is accurate and up to date.
- Work alongside the Camp Manager to support daily camp operations.
- Assist with outdoor activities and support the wider team where required.

- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is proactive, adaptable and enjoys improving programs.
- Can build positive relationships with schools, students and peers.
- Enjoys being part of a collaborative team and is happy to jump in wherever needed.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in education, youth work, psychology, counselling.
- Group facilitation or public speaking experience.
- Experience developing educational resources or staff training.
- Data analysis and reporting experience.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
Must-Haves
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Availability during school terms and camp periods.
