We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team. This position offers an immediate start for the right candidate.
About the Role
This role involves providing person-centred support to clients in their homes and the community, helping them maintain independence, achieve their goals, and enhance their quality of life.
Working Hours
- Regular shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays
- Availability for some weekends is required
- 8.5-hour shifts
- Additional shifts may be available based on client needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance
- Support clients with community access and social activities
- Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Follow individual care plans and organisational policies
- Build positive and professional relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
Essential Requirements
- Female applicant (required due to client preferences and care needs)
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to support work
