Radeshar Pty Ltd operates several motels and restaurants . We require a cook for our Fox and Hound
Restaurant located at 18 Ingram Road, Wahroonga, NSW 2076
Position COOK - Full time

Reporting to : The Operations Manager
Job Responsibilities
(i)Maintaining a high level of knowledge about the hospitality /cafe/ Restaurant industry and current
trends in cooking process using all the resources available, including (but not limited to)formal training,
perusing cooking manuals, interaction with colleagues and through internet.
(ii)Knowledge about meat quality ,meat preservation and contamination, vegetables ,grocery ,
spices ,dairy and other items required based on the recipe and menu .
(iii)Cooking food using grill, oven , salamander and deep fryer
(iv)Preparing desserts and pastries
(v)Representing the Restaurant in a professional and positive manner, as well as having a strong team
focus.
(vi)Understanding patron’s requirements and cooking in a manner that meets the customer requirements
and expectations
(vii)Report any safety or maintenance issue in relation to the Restaurant equipment or appliance
(viii)Identify and report hazards
(ix)Execution of job as per the high quality standards set by the Restaurant’s management and the food
industry .
(x)Works productively in a high pressure environment; keeps emotions under control during difficult
situations; balance the demands of work life and personal life; maintain a positive outlook at work; and
handles criticism well and learn from it
(xi)Knowledge of food hygiene. OHS and maintaining personnel hygiene.
2.JOB Duties
(i)Identifying clients needs and preparing food according to the order .
(ii)Cutting meat & vegetables in different shape
(iii)Check the preparation of food to ensure quality
(iv)Plan menu and estimate food requirements
(v)Make sure that the food is well presented
(vi)Temperature and quality monitoring of all refrigerated and frozen products
(vii)Assembling and setting right temperatures and humidity for cooking machines like bakers , Oven and
deep fry equipment's
(viii)Monitoring ingredients consumption
(ix)Scale up and mix ingredients for standard items according to pre determined set basis
(x)Marinating ,searing, grilling, baking, steaming , pan frying as may be required for the food item
(xi)Prepare and cook all types of food items according to the cooking manual of the company .
(xii)Ensure sanitation and hygiene are maintained
(xiii)Be an expert in preparing and cooking steak , lamb cutlets ,seafood , dessert and other items as per
menu .
(xiv) Ability to cook and provide wide variety of VEGAN , GLUTEN FREE,LACTOSE FREE and
VEGETARIAN CUISINE
Required Qualifications
Minimum certificate IV in cookery /Kitchen Management from a recognized Australian Institution or
equivalent
Experience :
Minimum one year experience as cook in the relevant cuisine
Salary : $ 80,000 to 85000/annum +Superannuation
You may be be required to work on weekends and roster
