Join the Team
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of integrated technology solutions across complex, large-scale clinical platforms. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping enterprise architecture, guiding application teams, and ensuring alignment with organisational technology strategies.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the definition and delivery of end-to-end solution architecture for clinical platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Architect and implement centralised, integrated technology solutions within large and complex environments, supporting clinical workflows and enterprise data requirements.
- Design and deliver healthcare integration solutions using HL7/FHIR and REST APIs to enable secure and seamless interoperability across clinical systems.
- Provide technical leadership across clinical application platforms, including Cerner Millennium-based environments where applicable.
- Engage and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to define, evaluate, and secure endorsement of architecture solutions.
- Develop and maintain architecture strategies, standards, and roadmaps to maximise return on technology investments.
- Identify architecture risks, manage exemptions, and ensure governance, compliance, monitoring, and continuous improvement across solution delivery.

About You
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and solution design within large, complex service-based organisations, with a strong track record of delivering end-to-end technology solutions.
- Hands-on experience in healthcare application environments, including Cerner Millennium (CCL, MPage), clinical workflows, and integration using HL7/FHIR standards and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance practices, and secure design principles, including PSAF and Essential Eight.
- Experience in designing secure, scalable architectures across hybrid and cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure), with a focus on compliance and reliability.
- Proven ability to define strategic technology direction, architecture standards, and investment approaches that improve enterprise capability and business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capability, with a practical, delivery-focused mindset and ability to work in complex, fast-moving environments.
- Relevant qualifications in IT, Architecture, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
