Introduction:
PURPOSE:
The position exists to operate mobile plant and ancillary mining production equipment in accordance with ConsMin guidelines, systems and processes.
The incumbent will safely, productively, and cost-effectively contribute to the daily operations of the Load and Haul team.
Description:
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate mobile plant and ancillary mining production equipment in line with operational requirements and site standards.
- Demonstrate an operational understanding of load and haul activities, including equipment capabilities and production processes.
- Operate allocated machinery safely, efficiently, and within manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain knowledge of open pit mine safety practices and actively apply them in daily tasks.
- Participate in training, development, and upskilling opportunities to enhance capability and performance.
Maintain environmental awareness and follow all site environmental management procedures.
Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by your manager in line with your skills, experience and competency level

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Required -
- Minimum C Class Drivers’ Licence
Cert II or Cert III in RII surface extraction
- Applied First Aid Certificate HLTAID003
Desired -
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
2 years’ + experience operating mobile plant machinery
- An understanding of fleet management systems
