Reporting to the WHS Manager, you'll play a critical role in partnering with operational teams to strengthen safety performance, improve systems, and foster a proactive safety culture across multiple sites.
This is an opportunity for a WHS professional who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and delivering practical safety solutions that make a genuine difference.
- Provide expert WHS guidance and support to Regional and Site Leadership teams
- Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and hazard management activities
- Maintain and continuously improve WHS management systems and processes
- Support injury management and return-to-work programs
- Prepare and present WHS reports and performance data
- Act as a trusted advisor for WHS-related matters across the business
- Promote positive safety behaviours and strengthen safety culture
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practice
- Utilise MYOSH or similar safety management systems
- ADHOC travel to site once a month!
You're a confident and proactive WHS professional who can influence outcomes, build strong working relationships, and balance compliance with practical operational realities.
- Current Australian Working Rights
- Current Driver's Licence
- Cert IV or Diploma in WHS/OHS
- ICAM Investigation Training
- Minimum 5 years' WHS experience within the resources sector
- Strong knowledge of state and national WHS legislation
- Experience implementing and improving WHS systems and programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong Microsoft Office capability
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Behavioural Safety experience
