Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator to enhance the development of our Complex Care nursing and carer workforce. Working closely with clinical leaders, you will design, deliver and continuously improve education programs that support clinical excellence, patient safety and workforce capability. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of hospital-level care in the home while mentoring and empowering nurses to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients and their families.
About the Role

Design and deliver orientation, onboarding and transition-to-practice programs
- Develop clinical education resources, competency frameworks and evidence-based learning materials
- Facilitate education sessions, workshops and clinical competency assessments
- Identify workforce development needs and implement targeted learning initiatives
- Promote best practice, quality improvement and patient safety across clinical teams
Skills & Experience
-
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong clinical background within ICU, Critical Care or Acute Care environments Experience in clinical education, staff development, preceptorship or mentoring
- Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging education programs
- Current driver licence and willingness to travel across the Sydney metropolitan area
- Highly regarded: Previous Clinical Nurse Educator experience, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), and experience developing clinical competencies, policies and practice guidelines.
