AusCare Partners is seeking reliable, compassionate and experienced female support workers to provide ongoing assistance to aged-care and NDIS clients in Dandenong and Dandenong North.
Due to the personal-care requirements and preferences of the clients receiving these services, female applicants are required for these particular shifts.
Available recurring shifts include:
- Tuesdays, 1:00 pm–3:00 pm – Domestic assistance
- Tuesdays, approximately 3:00 pm–7:00 pm – Personal care and support
- Thursdays, 12:00 pm–2:00 pm – Personal care and daily-living assistance
- Thursdays, 2:30 pm–4:30 pm – Weekly ongoing shift
- Fridays, 11:30 am–1:30 pm – Personal care and daily-living assistance
- Fridays, 2:00 pm–4:00 pm – Monthly ongoing shift
- Sundays, approximately 2:30 pm–6:00 pm – Personal care and community support
Applicants may nominate one shift or several shifts. Preference may be given to workers who can provide consistent ongoing availability and accept multiple services within the area.
Responsibilities may include:
- Personal care and assistance with daily activities
- Domestic cleaning and household assistance
- Community access and social support
- Meal preparation
- Shopping and errands
- Supporting clients to maintain their independence
- Completing shift notes and reporting concerns
- Providing respectful, person-centred support
Essential requirements:
- Previous disability, aged-care or community-support experience
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Aged Care, or a relevant qualification
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check, where required
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to communicate clearly and complete shift documentation
- Commitment to accepting and attending recurring shifts consistently
Desirable:
- Experience providing personal care
- Dementia-support experience
- Manual-handling training
- Experience with domestic assistance and community access
