FULL-TIME RESTAURANT MANAGER / LINA ROOFTOP
Lina Rooftop is looking for an experienced and confident Full-Time Restaurant Manager to join our management team in South Brisbane.
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day restaurant operations, leading the front-of-house team and ensuring a consistently high standard of service and guest experience throughout every service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily restaurant operations and overseeing service from opening through to close
- Leading, supervising and supporting the front-of-house team throughout service
- Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service and guest experience
- Coordinating closely with the kitchen, bar, host and management teams
- Managing reservations, table allocations, large groups and functions
- Monitoring the flow of service and ensuring efficient table turnover
- Training, developing and providing ongoing feedback to team members
- Assisting with staff rostering and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- Managing staff performance, presentation and adherence to venue procedures
- Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally and resolving issues when required
- Conducting pre-service briefings and ensuring the team is prepared for each service
- Maintaining venue presentation, cleanliness and operational standards
- Ensuring compliance with RSA, food safety, WHS and company policies
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and operational requirements where required
- Monitoring labour and other key operational costs
- Supporting functions, events and high-volume services
- Working closely with senior management to continuously improve venue operations, service standards and team performance
We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident, hands-on and passionate about hospitality. You will be a strong leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional while managing a busy, fast-paced venue.
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar management role within a high-volume hospitality venue is highly regarded.
This is a full-time position, with availability across evenings and weekends required.
Pay: $68,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
