Role Overview:
The Grants Accountant role is critical in ensuring the financial integrity of our mental health programs and initiatives. Working closely with our managers and funding bodies, you will manage the end-to-end financial lifecycle of our funding agreements, ensuring that every dollar is tracked, is compliant with our statutory obligations and is maximised to support our clients.
Responsible for financial lifecycle management processes including:

End to end financial processing

Acquittals and reports for government and funding agencies

Compliance with funding requirements and ACNC regulations

Supporting audit processes

Providing financial analysis, support and advice to non-financial program managers to optimise program reporting and delivery
Your skills and qualifications will include:
-
At least 5 years' experience in an accounting role in a not for profit or public sector agency, particularly in grants accounting

Relevant tertiary qualifications

Well-developed skills in problem solving, reporting and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

A sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, particularly in relation to compliance and reporting obligations

Extensive experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations and acquittals

Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
-
Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
