Paediatric Speech Pathologist – Contractor Opportunity

Nepean Paediatrics is a busy and growing multidisciplinary private paediatric practice in Kingswood, providing comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents across the Nepean, Blue Mountains and Western Sydney regions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team as an independent contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding caseload within a well-established paediatric practice supported by a team of paediatricians and allied health professionals.
About the Role
- Contractor position with flexible working arrangements
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Established referral pathways from paediatricians within the practice
- Assessment and management of children with:
- Speech and language delays
- Developmental disorders
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Social communication difficulties
- Literacy and learning challenges
- Feeding and swallowing difficulties (if experienced)
- Opportunities to work collaboratively with paediatricians, psychologists, schools and other healthcare providers
- Modern consulting rooms and administrative support provided

Essential Requirements
- Degree in Speech Pathology
- Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Current Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently as a contractor
Desirable
- Experience working in public/ private paediatric practice
- Experience with ASD assessments and interventions
- Experience with feeding assessments and therapy
- Knowledge of NDIS processes and reporting requirements
